There was still snow on the ground for a walk with 8th Graders from the Sacramento California area. They kept taking pictures of the snow piles, telling me that they don't see that very much back home. I should have mentioned that the lightning bugs come out in a few months, but you can't have it both ways I guess.
When we made it to High St this one girl asked why they put the jail across the street from the public school. That is a great question. I really don't know. But I am sure that I will mention it on every tour from now on! You never stop learning and improving on your storytelling and guiding and help comes from all sorts of people and places!
Is it April yet?
